Club People

Handball is a fast paced, highly skillful, hugely entertaining, and fully inclusive sport.

GAA Handball is a strong and vibrant association thanks to the army of dedicated volunteers at club level. Volunteers are the life and soul of every GAA Handball Club, and have a strong sense of pride in their club and of loyalty to their local community. These values are at the heart of the GAA Handball family and the organisation.

The club is the basic unit of the association. In common with all other units in the organisation, it shares the responsibility of ensuring that the objectives of the GAA are achieved.

Below is a bank of resources to help GAA Handball Club officers nationwide with general administration in the club.

Anti-Doping:

GAA Handball Ireland’s policy is that doping is contrary to the spirit of sport and every member has a duty to ensure that the sport is free of doping. Membership of GAA Handball Ireland means that all athletes may be selected for testing.
