
Robbie McCarthy's victory in Saturday's All-Ireland Final sees him regain the #1 spot in the Irish Rankings, but interestingly enough his lead at the top has been cut to just 4pts by beaten finalist Charly Shanks, due to the 2014 Championship points falling off the table.
With Killian Carroll & Diarmaid Nash's non participation in this years Championship, Martin Mulkerrins has taken full advantage and jumped into third spot. Fellow semi-finalist CJ Fitzpatrick makes the biggest leap, moving into 5th spot and in doing so sealing his highest ranking to date, whilst Patrick Funchion's run has seen him leap 7 places into 13th position, one ahead of his brother Peter.
The top four in the Ladies remain the same, but newly crowned All-Ireland champion Catriona Casey no only trails Aisling Reilly by one point ahead of next month's Irish Nationals in Belfast. Other significant movers sees Kilkenny' Ciara Mahon jump from 8th to 5th, also her highest ranking to date.
