
GAA Handball wishes to pass on its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late John Flynn, Aughalustia, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, who has passed away peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital, Galway.
Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget, brother Christy and his sister Una.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Rose, sons Paul, Sean and Kevin, sisters Betty, Evelyn and Josie, grandchildren Cian, Holly and Amber, daughter-in-law Nicola, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
John was a founder member and a very influential figure in Ballaghaderreen Handball Club. His sons Paul, Sean and Kevin have been prominent players and highly regarded members of the handball community.
John will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, on Sunday from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Monday at 11.30am to St. Nathy’s Cathedral arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, with the funeral proceeding to Kilcolman Cemetery.
