TG4 announces partnership with GAA Handball

TG4 is delighted to announce its partnership with GAA Handball, the governing body for handball in Ireland. This exciting collaboration will see TG4 promote and showcase GAA Handball events through its digital platform, Spórt TG4 YouTube.

As part of this partnership, Spórt TG4 YouTube will live stream 14 prominent GAA Handball events in 2024, including the highly anticipated Wallball and 4-Wall World Championships. Handball enthusiasts and sports fans alike can now enjoy the exhilarating matches from these championships, right from the comfort of their own homes. The first of these events begins this weekend with the She's ACE Championship this Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January live on Spórt TG4 YouTube. See full list of streaming fixtures below.

To cater to the diverse audience, TG4 will also produce captivating highlights shows of the open/elite grades for both the Wallball and 4-Wall World Championships, ensuring fans catch the most thrilling moments of these prestigious events’.

Further solidifying its commitment to GAA Handball, TG4 will feature GAA Handball National Events as part of its extensive GAA 2024 coverage on Monday nights. This inclusion will provide an even wider platform for the sport and allow fans across the nation to witness the skills and intensity of the best handball players in the country.

TG4 and GAA Handball are also producing a one-hour documentary on 100 years of Handball to celebrate the organisation's centenary year. This programme will air on TG4 as part of the Autumn Schedule.
