The 2016 All-Ireland 40x20 Senior Singles Championship kicks of this weekend with full fixtures now released.
The Men's Championship builds on from the recent Provincial Championships, with Provincial positioning affecting players entry points in the draw. See below for explanation of Men's Draw format.
Format:
- The 4 Provincial winners automatically enter at the QF stage. These four players are seeded 1-4 based on the National Rankings
- The 4 Provincial runners-up automatically enter at the Last 12 stage. These four players are seeded 5-8 based on the National Rankings and will face the four players who progress through the Back Door Qualifiers.
- All other players, who are full senior players, enter the qualifiers and fight it out for four spots against the provincial runners-up
