Draws for this weekend’s Salthill HC, Galway 40x20 Tournament have just been released. Action gets underway on Saturday 2nd Dec in Moycullen, Claregalway and Salthill alleys.
Michael Hedigan returns to defend his A crown, but faces stiff competition in Ian McLoughlin, last year’s runner up, as well as fellow Mayo men Ciaran Burke, Ollie Cassidy, up and comer Gavin Coyle and Galway's own Peter Donohue.
Mens B promises to be a competitive one with the likes of Denis Creaton, Paul Hedderman, Oisin O'Cualain and last week’s Nationals C Champion Conor Noone all in the hunt.
Mens C promise plenty of action, with the likes of Eimhin O'Diolluin and Gordon Nolan in the race, while in the Mens Doubles, Gerry ‘Springer’ Faherty is back and hungry for two in a row, this time linking up with 2017 All-Ireland Emeralds B Masters Champion Willie Corcoran.
Over 50 action packed matches will be played over the weekend, as handball comes west once again.
