Only 8 left standing in Men’s 60x30 Championship

Only 8 men are left standing in the MyClubShop.ie All-Ireland 60x30 Senior SIngles Championship after the this weekends Last 16 encounters.

Eoin Kennedy was in bullish form against Brian Manogue, ousting the Kilkenny man in singles figures. He will meet Gary McConnell in a tricky QF after the Meath man powered to a good 21-12, 21-10 win over Paudi Quish.

McConnell's fellow Kell's clubman Brian Carroll recorded a comfortbale win over James Brady 21-12, 21-3, and will now face Gavin Buggy, who dispatched Vinny Moran 21-15, 21-10.

Seamus O'Carroll had the big win of the weekend and was impressive when defeating #3 seed Ger Coonan 21-11, 21-12. The Cappagh clubman will now face Carl Browne who survived the only tiebreak of the weekend when he took down Joe McCann 8-21, 21-8, 21-6.

Recently crowned Munster champ Dominic Lynch will face reigning All-Ireland champ Robbie McCarthy in the QF after Lynch saw off last years Doubles Finalist Ciaran Neary 21-12, 21-9.

All 4 QF's are down for decision next Saturday 20th August, with venues TBC.
