The highly renowned and hugely competitive Munster Open - Liscarroll Handball Tournament in County Cork has confirmed its dates again over this year’s festive season from December 27th-Jan1st with entries now being taken.
This event down through the years has showcased the young talent that is evident throughout the country with many former winners going on to win World and All Ireland Titles! Some former winners include Diarmuid Nash, Colin Crehan, Fergal Coughlan, Colin Corbett, Patrick Herlihy, Evan Murphy, Jerome Cahill, Cormac Munroe. Last year the honours went to Tiernan Agnew U15, Cian O’Driscoll U13, Sinead Meagher U15, Niamh Heffernan U13, three of whom competed and won Gold at the World Handball Championships in Canada recently!
