It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of Michael O Connell, Mallow Handball Club, Cork.
Michale was a true stalwart of the game, a keen competitor, a club man, a loyal supporter who worked tirelessly behind the scenes on many committees throughout the years, and who befriended all he met in the Handball circle.
Michael was an incredibly kind, down to earth and generous man who always brightened up your day every time you met him.
Our deepest sympathies go to Mary, his wife, his four children Mark, Gearoid, Anthony and Faustina who he travelled the country, Canada and the USA with, as they all competed in the game of handball. Michaels memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
