Vienna Gaels (Austria), Paris Gaels (France), Tolosa Gaels (Toulouse), Munich Colmcilles (Germany), Amsterdam GAA (Netherlands), Slovak Shamrocks (Slovakia). These are not GAA Club names that you would typically associate with Handball, but going forward maybe now you can!
Under the guidance of Gaelic Games Europe (www.gaelicgameseurope.com) all of these Clubs recently participated in the inaugural GGE Handball Tournament, hosted by Vienna Gaels as the game of 1-Wall Handball continues to grow across international GAA Clubs.

The Men's Division was run in a Team Format, with Paris Gaels becoming the first GGE European Handball Champions.
The Ladies Division was run on an Individual Format, with Helena Hernanz from Toulouse Gaels emerging victorious.
Well done to all involved. It is fantastic to see the enthusiasm for our game grow across the continent.
