After the success of the Boys National Cumann na mBunscoil Day, this Saturday 21st March sees the turn of the girls to shine at the Girls National Day. The format is the same as the Boys event, with each player getting the opportunity to play three matches against players from different provinces. Many of our current stars in the Ladies game have played in this event down through the years, and many of the exciting batch of youngsters on show this weekend are sure will rise to the fore of Irish Ladies Handball in future years. Please note the early start time of 10.30am due to the Senior Finals are being played in the afternoon.
This fun based event brings 48 young players from all corners of the country, providing them with three guaranteed matches against players from the other provinces in both the U11 and U13 age groups. A full breakdown of players, playing schedule and rules can be found below.
