Calling all GAA Handball Golf Enthusiasts! Date for your Diary!!
GAA Handball are delighted to announce details of this year's Golf Classic after last year’s very successful one. This year’s event takes place on Friday 27th July in Castle Barna Golf Club in Daingean, Offaly.
This is an opportunity for all golfers of all standards whether you are a Handballer or not to show support and to mingle in a social setting while enjoying a round of golf and some fine food afterwards in the lovely surroundings of Castle Barna Golf Club.
The above picture includes last year’s winning Wexford team, John Bail, Mick Rossiter, Pechelli English, John Kennedy and our President Mr Joe Masterson.
We are calling on all Counties/Clubs to ensure there is a minimum of one team entered to represent your club/county on the day! All profits raised will go back into the game!

- Entry: Teams of 4 (Any combination)
- Entry Fee: €200 per Team of 4 (includes Tea/Coffee & Scones on Arrival and Meal afterwards)
Prizes for 1st (4 x All Ireland Football/Hurling Final Tickets), 2nd, 3rd team also prize for Non Golfers and Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive.
Counties/Clubs are requested/expected to confirm their intentions to participate/support the above, no later than Friday 15th June by emailing Austin McKenna. Counties/Clubs are requested to submit not less than 50% of their entry fee no later than Friday 22nd June and the balance by Friday 29th June.
Cheques should be made payable to GAA Handball and forwarded to GAA Handball, Croke Park, Dublin 3. If a county/club get a business to sponsor the entry fee then GAA Handball can arrange a receipt to be issued (please include full details with the cheque).
