GAA Handball clubs throughout the country must be really looking forward to the start of the John West Softball Féile competitions on this Sunday 25th August in Wexford venues.
There will be unprecedented numbers taking part in this weekend's first ever standalone Softball Feile, in what is a major boost to the Softball code. Normally played alongside the 4-Wall & 1-Wall Feile, numbers in the Softball Feile dwindled in recent years, averaging 2 or 3 teams per year. This year however we are delighted to say that there are 26 teams entered (including 8 girl’s teams), involving 130 young players!
So, with final preparations now at an advance stage - with the Posters and Programmes now ready for distribution to all the clubs and players. The action is about to begin.

Skills
In the Skills event for each grade, each club can put in 1 player from their team list into the skill competition (names can be changed on the day). Some clubs have still to name their skills player, but this can still be done at each venue on Sunday.
