Kildare's Leah Doyle & Roscommon's Fiona Tully has been crowned U15 & U18 champions of the "Golden Girls" club competition hosted by Broadford HC, Limerick.
In a nail biting U15 final, Leah defeated Galway's Niamh Heffernan 25-24 in a terrific encounter that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats right until the final ace.
The U15 Plate Final was an all Tipperary affair with Katie Morris beating Siobhan Prentice in another great final.
The U18 Division 1 Final was claimed by St Coman's woman Tully who got the better of Tipperary's Sinead Meagher. Division 2 saw a win for Kildare's Hannah Dagg , defeating Clare's Minor All-Ireland Champion Doireann Murphy, whilst in the Div 3 Final, Galway's Niamh Heffernan stepped up in age groups to defeat Clare's Clodagh Nash.
