GAA Handball are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lorcán Ó Ruairc, Newbridge, Co Kildare.
Lorcán was National Handball Manager up till his retirement in 2009 and was a very popular and universally respected figure who devoted himself to the development of the sport.
Lorcán had a keen interest in all GAA codes and was a noted historian who served the association with distinction for decades.
We pass on our deepest condolences to Lorcán’s friends and family at this very sad time.
