As a build on to the release of our Club Accreditation Scheme "Club Iontach" last year, today GAA Handball has released a "County Iontach" support programme for all of its County Handball Boards.
County Iontach aims to provide County Handball Boards with guidance in best practice across four core areas, in a bid to improve to increase effectiveness and efficiency. An extensive bank of appendices and templates have been developed to aid County Boards and reduce workloads.

- Communications, Image & PR
- Coaching & Development
- Safety
Different to Club Iontach, the County Iontach programme is merely guidance documents for our County Boards, with no submission of documentation/evidence required. We expect the programme will be of benefit in particular when new delegates are appointed to key County Board roles, and hope all of our County Boards take this support on board and utilise it to their benefits.
