Ard Comhairle Update #2 (April 2022)

The Ard Chomairle meeting on Thursday 7th April approved the following decision.

Bulletin #2 (2022)

Clár for the 2nd half of the year was approved with some amendments. Clár to be circulated as soon as possible. CCCC have been asked to start work on the 2023 Clár and co-opt people that were involved in other Clár proposals to support them.
Hardball – there will be no hardball competitions in 2022 due to lack of supply of hardballs. Work is ongoing at sourcing a supply of the handballs for future years.
Wallball Nationals will be played in Roscommon in 2022.
The juvenile recruitment proposal and funding was approved. Committee to come back with a roll out plan.
Pilot National Schools coaching initiative was approved.
International team trip to the US 4 Wall Junior Nationals in December 2022. Team will consist of male and female representative at u15/u17/u19. Players will be selected using a ranking points system. Details will issue next week.
2022 Feile will be U15.
Proposal on the Youth Expo was approved. Agreed that a representative from each province will form a committee to support Pauric Dowdall in delivering the Expo.
The Ladies Committee to look at Ladies Handball as part of the strategic plan was appointed – Michelle Warren, Ellen O’Connor, Fiona Tully and Ashling O’Keeffe.
