Last weekend over 90 new and experienced handballers took part in the County She's Ace tournament. With players aged from 10 to over 30, the emphasis was on participation and enjoyment with games held in six different venues throughout a busy day of handball.
This event proved to be another success and is now an integral part of the Galway Handball calendar. This event gave handballers, especially young players the chance to compete in a friendly atmosphere and for parents to see the many benefits of handball. This was the ideal preparation of the National She's Ace event taking place from January 24th to 26th. During the day all participants were presented with a top and medal.
Thanks to Claregalway, Abbeyknockmoy, Salthill, Micheál Breathnachs, Annaghdown and Moycullen for hosting games throughout an enjoyable day of handball.
