4-Wall Irish Adult Nationals 2020 – Fixtures

The fixture for the 2020 GAA Handball 4-Wall Irish Adult Nationals which will take place over the weekend of the 15th & 16th February in Mayo have just been released. This event has attracted huge numbers again this year. The full fixtures list with schedule for each venue can be found below plus important information and the 40x20 International rules (extracts) which are used in the nationals.

The newly refurbished Aughagower court and the home court of incoming President Dessie Keegan namely Ballaghaderreen will play host to a top-class series of matches in the Men’s and Ladies Open grades on the Saturday with semi-finals and finals being played on the Sunday in Aughagower. Other courts being used over the weekend include Ballinrobe, Bofield, Carnacon, Castlebar (An Sportlann), Claremorris, Kiltimagh, Newport and St. Gerard’s.

There is added excitement to this year event with the long-awaited return of Cavan’s Paul Brady to action on Irish soil. But the big guns in McCarthy, Nash and Mulkerrins will be very keen to show Brady who’s number 1 in 2020.

In the Ladies Open, there is a notable playing missing from the high-quality field with Cork’s Catriona Casey giving this event a miss. But with McMahon, Reilly and a host of other top players in action, the field is still very strong with a lot of players hoping to pick up very valuable ranking points with Casey missing.
