It was a busy week for GAA Handball as 250+ Teachers took part in a series of 11 Handball In-services nationwide.
The sessions were aimed at providing teachers with basic introduction to One-Wall Handball, and to provide a variety of coaching games and ideas to incorporate handball in to large PE classes. The in-service courses provided the teachers with confidence and knowledge to deliver a handball session and the feedback we received was very positive. We are confident that we will see a significant number of these teachers get involved with GAA Handball's One-Wall for Schools Initiative, which has already seen 450+ walls built in schools nationwide.
The GAA Handball teacher in-service courses were held in Mayo, Galway, Dublin, Carlow, Louth, Meath, Waterford, Limerick and Cavan
