The 2022 Softball Nationals take place this coming weekend in Wexford venues. Just under 200 players are scheduled to descend to the Sunny South East for a huge schedule of big alley games. The fixture list is now available on the link at the bottom of this page.
We are delighted to have no less than seven Wexford venues in use for 2022 and we hope each venue gets to see some top quality Handball.
Softball National Rules and Information...
- All Cup matches in the Softball Irish Nationals will comprise 2 x 15 ace game & tie-break to 11 if required, including finals unless otherwise stated.
- All Plate matches in the Softball Irish Nationals will comprise 1 x 21 ace game, including finals.
- Standard rules of Softball will apply for all matches unless otherwise stated.
- The 60x30 Challenger 3 Ball will be used for Girls 13, 15, 17 & Under and Boys 13 & Under Grades.
- The Adult 60x30 Softball will be used for all other grades.
Games begin at 6:00pm on Friday (Mens Open only) & 10:00am start on Saturday at all venues. There is no specific time for games rather a running order for each venue.
