2022 4-Wall Juvenile Boys Team of 6/4 Championship Report

The 2022 4-Wall Juvenile Boys Team of 6/4 competitions took place over the weekend in Cork, Tipperary and Tyrone venues. In total five different counties took part with Kilkenny taking home two titles and Clare taking home the 3rd set of gold medals.

In the U12/13 competition Kilkenny overcame Tyrone in the first semi-final 79-69 while Galway also had a tight victory over Clare opposition on a score-line 78-69. In the final the Kilkenny side proved too strong for the Galway team and took the title 90-22. No doubt we will see these players many times in the future, displaying their high level of handball skills that was on display at the weekend.

In the U14/15 competition Kilkenny received a bye from Monaghan while Clare also received a bye. In the final, Clare started strongly and built up a commanding lead and went on to defeat Kilkenny on an 81-45 score-line.

Finally, in the U16/17 competition, Kilkenny had a tight victory over Cork in the final to win on a score-line 54-41.
