GAA Handball are delighted to be part of the John West Féile na nGael festival, the Handball event takes place on Saturday 15th June in Cork and Limerick venues.Féile na nGael is a Club festival for Handball, Hurling, Camogie and Football at Under 14 level involving teams from across the Association. The fixtures for the Handball 4-Wall and 1-Wall competitions have just been released – see below.
This year’s event promises to be one of the largest Handball Féile competitions of all time, with the new standalone weekend being very well supported by our clubs. In the Boys 4-Wall event we have 37 teams spread over 6 divisions, while the Girls 4-Wall event has attracted 19 teams divided into 3 divisions.
Our relatively new 1-Wall event which is only in its 3rd year has attracted 22 teams with 15 in the Boys & 7 in the Girls. This means we have SEVENTY-EIGHT Club teams taking part this year which is an increase of NINE from last year.
With a separate Softball Féile being organized on Sunday 25th August, there has never been a better time to be part of a Handball Club with so many competitions on offer throughout the whole year.
The John West Féile competitions are national festival for Handball, Hurling, Camogie, Gaelic Football and Rounders played at Under 14 level.
