The 2016 40x20 Juvenile Team of 6/4 competitions took place last Saturday in Kingscourt, Cavan. In total five different counties took part with Kilkenny and Cork counties taking home the gold medals.
In the U12/13 competition Kilkenny had a convincing win over Cork in the first semi-final 58-26 while Cavan received a bye in the second semi-final. The very strong Kilkenny team followed their convincing semi-final win with another in the final against the host county Cavan on a score-line 60-18.
In the U14/15 competition Kilkenny also had a comfortable win over Clare in the semi-final 60-29 while Down received a bye to the final. In the final this Kilkenny team also had a comfortable win over Down on a score-line 87-31.
Finally in the U16/17 competition Cork had a convincing win over Kilkenny in the semi-final 60-12 while Cavan received a bye. In the final the Cork team also had a good win over Cavan 60-37.
