The third Wall Ball Championships takes place this Saturday 2nd June and our hosts are the local Kilglass HC at their very impressive Kilglass GAC Centre, Co. Roscommon. The cream of the Irish Wall Ballers will converge on their three courts complex in what’s promises to be an exciting day at the GAA Handball Wall Ball Championships 2018.
The Men’s Open see this year’s National runner up Martin Mulkerrins (Galway) against last year’s Championship winner Paudi Quish (Limerick) in the first semi-final. The other semi-final has this year’s Nationals Winner Conor McElduff (Tyrone) pitted against the Leinster championship winner Ben Devlin (Louth). This is a hard one to call with all four players capable of taking this title on Saturday afternoon.
In the first Ladies Open semi-final Galway’s Eimear Ní Bhiadha faces this year’s National Winner Martina McMahon (Limerick) while Niamh Dunne (Laois) plays Maeve McElduff (Tyrone) in what promises to be a tight match.
The action kicks off at 10am with semi-finals in all eleven grades, followed by the Finals starting at 2pm approximately.
