Martina McMahon's 2017 She's Ace win has seen her narrow the gap at the top from 40pts to 21pts, with Catriona Casey still a clear #1.
McMahon is in fact still in 3rd spot behind Aisling Reilly, but the gap between the pair is only 6pts, and a win for McMahon in a potential All-Ireland SF against Reilly will see her move into 2nd.
The 2014 Nationals & the 2015 She's Ace has now fallen off the rankings (comprised of points gathered over 8 out of the last 9 events in a two year period) meaning a shift in some other positioning. Roscommon's Fiona Tully moves from 10th to 6th, with Kilkenny's Ciara Mahon strengthening her 5th place after claiming 4th place at the 2017 She's Ace.
