After the success of last year’s conference event in Loughmacrory, Ulster GAA have decided to run the 2nd Girls Handball Conference again at Queens PEC Belfast on Thursday 1st Feb 2018.
This will be a “Girls only Event” and is open to all Year 12, 13 & 14 girls to attend FREE of charge. We have limited numbers and may have to offer out on first come first served basis.
On the day the various workshop topics will include Coaching, Fitness, Nutrition, Handball Skills and participation. Attendees advised to wear casual sportswear.
Star ladies GAA Handball players such as Fiona Shannon, Sibeal Gallagher, Aisling Reilly, Megan McCann and Eilise McCrory will be involved in the delivery of the conference workshops.
All attendees will receive free entrance to the conference, refreshments on arrival and lunch on departure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for sports students, handball players or those interested in getting involved in the sport or even for those teachers thinking about starting it in their own schools.
Proceedings will get underway 10am on Thursday 1st February 2018 and will conclude at 2pm.
