In some random Handball news....all in GAA Handball would like to wish the best of luck to Martin Mulkerrins (Moycullen HC, Galway) and Eilish Owens (Breacadh HC, Tyrone) who travel to Uganda tonight, where they will spend six weeks doing voluntary work at Adraa Agricultural College and with the locals in the surrounding villages.
The college is run by the Franciscan Brothers from Mountellew in Co. Galway, who in anticipation of the arrival of these two Handballers have already begun work two weeks ago on building a One-Wall facility in Adraa similar to the fantastic double court on Inis Mór.
We look forward to seeing the progress over the coming weeks and were delighted to provide balls and gear to get them started! Who knows we may see some Ugandan champions in the future!
