Excitement is building ahead of the second annual Kingscourt Shoot-Out, which takes place on January 5-6th next at the Cavan venue.
The 32-man adult Shoot-Out (open to minor, junior and intermediate players, who all compete in the same draw with a dropdown after the first round) is filling up quickly, with 24 players confirmed.
The following adult players have entered so far:
Adult: Oran Kiernan, Eoghan McGinnity, Brendan Higginbotham, Jack O'Reilly, David O'Brien, Cormac McMahon, Patrick Clerkin, Paul Fitzpatrick, Paddy Donovan, Ciaran Brennan, Aidan Marron, Cillian O'Reilly, Gary McElroy, Diego Di Folco, James Gavaghan, Gavin Coyle, Mark Doyle, Galen Riordan, Mark McGowan, Ben Devlin, Caolán Smith, Kevin Barrett, Loren Collado, Sean Digney.
Meanwhile, there will be an U14 and U16 doubles competition on the Sunday (January 6th), limited to eight teams in both. The following pairs have entered so far:
U14: Adam McKenna/Niall Magee, Lorcan O'Connor/David Considine
U16: Billy Drennan/John Doheny, Kyle Jordan/Mark Doyle, Mikey Kelly/Conor Duane
The committee have also decided to offer an U16 girls doubles competition on the same day due to demand. To enter the girls, follow the normal procedure by clicking this link and simply place your entry in the boys U16 section.
