Four Senior Doubles matches took place over the weekend with Men's semi-finalists & Ladies finalists now confirmed.
Kildare teenagers Leah Doyle & Mollie Dagg gave a good account of themselves in their first year competing at Senior level, eventually succumbing reigning champs Catriona Casey & Aishling O'Keeffe (Cork) in two competitive games.
In next Saturday's Final they will face Kilkenny duo Ciara Mahon & Aoife Holden in a repeat of the 2017 decider, after they overcame champs 2012 Pauline Gallagher & Amy Corrigan (Mayo).
In the Men's QF's, experienced Wexford pairing Gavin Buggy & Tommy Hynes were too strong for Tipperary pairing Ger Coonan & David Hickey in a 21-12 third game. They now set up a SF on Saturday against top seeds Dublin (Eoin Kennedy & Carl Browne).
Second seeds Meath (Brian Carroll & Gary McConnell), were dominant winners over Limerick (Paudi Quish & Eamon Davern) and will now face Kilkenny (Ciaran Neary & Keith Bourke) in the SF.
