There were no major shocks in last weekends Last 16 encounters of the 2018 Softball Mens Singles Championship.
Dublin's Eoin Kennedy was a convincing winner over Pat Conway, as was current champ Robbie McCarthy over Mayo's Vinny Moran.
Gavin Buggy put a slow start behind him to defeat Carl Browne in three games, whilst Joe McCann came very close to defeating Martin Mulkerrins before falling in three games.
