Coinciding with the inaugural Moycullen Open which saw 24 of Ireland's finest do battle, the Moycullen HC officially opened their new 4-Wall & Softball courts, adding to their existing 4-Wall court.
In all it was an excellent weekend of Handball which fittingly marked the Court Opening by Minister of State, Sean Kyne, last Friday evening. Deputy Kyne and GAA Handball President, Joe Masterson, complemented the local club and community for their sustained commitment to the development of the top class handball facilities. Nine years, a quarter of million euro fund raised, a hundred thousand grant aid, in total €350,000 to deliver two additional courts - a herculean effort by any standard.
The Club extended it's gratitude to all the friends of handball, locally and nationally, who contributed in any way towards the construction of it's facilities.
