Having progressed through County & Provincial Blitz Days, 48 young stars of the future have won their way to the National Cumann na mBunscol Day on Saturday March 7th in Kingscourt HC, Cavan.
Having initially been schedule for the new National Handball Centre in Croke Park, this is no longer an option to due to a delay in the buildings completion. However we in Handball are lucky to have such an excellent replacement, in the 3 court complex in Kingscourt.
Thirteen counties will be represented on the day; Antrim, Tyrone, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Galway, Cork, Clare, Tipperary, Limerick, Laois, Wexford, Kilkenny. Players will play three matches, one each against the representatives from each Province.
Start Times: Girls (10.15am) Boys (12.45pm) *All players must arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to listed start times*
In an effort to provide these young players with an opportunity to watch Ireland's elite Handballers in action, GAA Handball will be providing complimentary tickets to each player & parents to watch the 2020 All-Ireland Senior Singles SF's, which are also taking place in Kingscourt on the same day from 2.30pm. Tickets will be provided at check in.
