The first National Handball Academy squad meet of 2019 took place on Saturday 26th January.
Fourteen of the country's top young juvenile players (aged 14-18) travelled to Athlone IT for baseline fitness testing which will be used to guide future training sessions. This was followed by break off Handball Coaching and Skills Analysis sessions in St Coman's (Roscommon) and Crinkle HC (Offaly).
It was great to see the 100% commitment levels of all players during all aspects of the days training.
National Tutors John O'Donoghue, Damien Martin, Nevan McCartin & Darragh Daly were all on hand on the day to oversee proceedings.
