Tyrone's Conor McElduff & Limerick's Martina McMahon have won the Mount Talbot One-Wall Men's & Ladies Open titles on their first visits to the tournament.
In the Men's, McElduff had an impressive 31-7 SF win over Vinny Moran, whilst Darragh Daly had an eye catching 31-4 win over Conall McCavitt. In the final though it was Irish #1 McElduff who had the edge as he recorded a 15-1, 15-11 win after some excellent play.
In the Ladies, Martina McMahon saw off Pauline Gallagher 31-12 in the SF, before teenager Hannah Dagg ousted Maeve McElduff 31-18 in the bottom SF. In the Final it was the experienced McMahon who turned on the style in the opener, winning 15-17. But Dagg made a real go of the second, forcing McMahon to come from 13-11 to win 15-13.
