Mens SF 1: Shanks v Nash

It's #TimeToShine for Diarmuid Nash & Charly Shanks!

Two of our countries finest players will do battle this Saturday in Kingscourt as the 2018 O'Neills All-Ireland Senior Singles race really heats up at the SF stage!

Reigning champ Shanks has admitted to being able to play with the shackles off ever since he won his maiden All-Ireland last year. This is a dangerous prospect with the Lurgan man already producing some high octane handball thus far this season, including in his three encounters with Nash.

The scores sit at 2-1 Shanks. Two tiebreak wins at the Golden Gloves and the Gaffney Memorial gives him the edge, although Nash did storm to the Irish Nationals title in November.

Banner man Nash is one crafty, cool costumer on court, but he will have a burning desire to finally get his hands on the All-Ireland crown, and with it the Team Ireland captaincy for this summers World Championships in Minnesota!

Tickets available at the door.

Be smart....don't miss this battle!
