The Limerick South Primary Schools One Wall Blitz was played on Monday the 23rd of October. John the Baptist C.S. kindly allowed the schools the use of their excellent facilities for the event. 31 pupils took part from 4 schools with Hospital NS, Kilmallock NS, Herbertstown NS and Knocklong NS represented.
There were 4 categories, U13 Boys & Girls and U11 Boys and Girls. Each category had an A & B competition so there were over 40 games held in just over two hours. The quality of play was very high with some future stars of the game showing their skills.
Following the event, John English of South Limerick Cumann na mBunscol and John Penny, secretary Limerick Handball, made presentations to all the finalists. Paudí Quish, Munster Senior 60x30 Handball champion and teacher in Hospital NS was also on hand and presented some handball prizes on behalf of GAA Handball.
