Leinster Schools One Wall Handball Blitz Days

GAA Handball are hosting another series of 5 free One-Wall Blitz Days for 1st Year Boys.

The competition days will culminate with a Leinster Finals Day, after Easter, for all regional heat winners. The competition is played in teams of 4 with schools allowed to enter a maximum of 2 teams (i.e. 8 students).

It is important to note that beginners & novices are encouraged to attend. We strongly welcome their attendance as the School’s One Wall initiative is aimed at increasing participation in handball, along with introducing a fun and cost effective game to schools.

GAA Handball have also made a ruling that Handballers who have previously won Provincial titles are ineligible to play, to ensure an even playing field.

Adding to this, all players will participate in a minimum of three competitive matches on the day.

The regional dates are as follows:

Tuesday 28th March, 11am – Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois & Wexford (Muinebheag VS, Carlow)

Wednesday 29th March, 11am – Louth & Meath (Colaiste ns hInse, Bettystown)

Thursday 30th March, 11am – Westmeath & Offaly (Multyfarnham HC)

Tuesday 4th April, 11am – South Dublin, Kildare & Wicklow (St Colmcille’s, Knocklyon)

Thursday 6th April, 11am – North Dublin (Portmarnock CS, Dublin)
