A series of 6 Regional One-Wall Blitz Days have been released for Leinster Post Primary Schools for the month of November, for 2nd & 3rd Year Boys.
Note: Dates for other age groups and for girls will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The Blitz Days come as a progression from GAA Handball's One-Wall for Schools Initiative, with huge numbers of schools now playing the game regularly on a daily basis.
Format:
- Played as Teams of 4; two doubles pairings
- Strictly aimed at beginners and players new to the game (Provincial Handball winners ineligible)
- Every player guaranteed three matches, with emphasis on fun and participation
- Schools can enter a max of 2 teams (8 players)
To encourage new players/schools to attend, a short Introductory Coaching Clinic on the game and rules will be provided in a short coaching clinic at the start of every blitz day by GAA Handball National Development Officer Darragh Daly.
