So, this is it – THE LAST McGEE TOURNAMENT! After 38 years, the curtain will fall on the annual McGee Handball and Social weekend. We really hope that as many people as possible will attend either as players, ex-players, or as spectators who enjoy handball and also the social scene that has made the McGee weekend famous over the years.
Same format as ever:
Games will start on Saturday August 5th at various venues and the finals will be held on Sunday. The usual social festivities will take place over the weekend – seafood night on Friday night (registration night) in the Grainne Uaile, and a B-B-Q with steak, wine and beer on Saturday night at the alley. The presentation of prizes to winners of all divisions will take place at a presentation on Sunday evening - date time and cost to be confirmed. It is hoped that as many people as possible will attend this last hurrah for the McGee!
As this is the final year, we will have memorial t-shirts for anyone that wants one. They can be ordered on the entry form at a cost of €20
