Handball Fun for Swedish Tourists in Belfast

Last week we got a random phone call to GAA Handball HQ from a group of Swedish tourists looking to try their hand at Gaelic Handball whilst they tour Ireland on their holidays.

They seen our game from our website and social media platforms and really wanted to give it a go. They were on route from Dublin to Belfast whilst they called, so we made a quick phone call and two hour later they were playing Handball in Queens University, hosted by Antrim Handball Secretary Seamas Graham. It was great of Seamas to be some accommodating at such short notice, and he helped the guys leave Ireland with a great first impression and admiration for the game.

Who knows maybe we could have our first Swedish GAA Handball club in the not too distant future!
