The finest male players Ireland has to offer will descend on Ballaghaderreen HC this weekend for the 10th edition of the John Gaffney Memorial, sponsored by Drury Oils Ltd.
Action kicks off on Friday evening with 8 first round matches; 4 in Ballaghaderreen & 4 in St Coman's Roscommon. Interesting tussles tomorrow include Meath's former All-Ireland Doubles Champion Brian Carroll against Kilkenny's Patrick Funchion, whilst recent 19&U World Champion Tiarnan Agnew makes his Senior debut against Tyrone's Conor McElduff, more commonly known for his 1-Wall exploits.
Saturday see's the big hitters come into town and it will again be hard to look past the big 3 of Martin Mulkerrins, Diarmaid Nash & Robbie McCarthy. Check out the full draw below.
A social event will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the tournament in Spells Bar, Ballaghadreerren, on the evening of Saturday, January 12th.
