A bit of history was made last weekend when Konrad Kowal, representing Monaghan, became the first Polish born player to win a GAA Handball All-Ireland Title.
Born in Rzeszow, and raised in a small village called Nowosielec, Konrad made the move to Ireland in 2004.
On Saturday evening he teamed up with Eoghan McGinnity to win the Minor 4-Wall Doubles title.
The only other non Irish born player to win an All-Ireland title was another player representing Monaghan, Ramunas Ramuskas, who won the U17 Singles title in 2013.
