Carroll/Sheridan win 60x30 Doubles

Meath's Brian Carroll & Tom Sheridan have dethroned Dublin's Eoin Kennedy & Carl Browne, to win back the All-Ireland 60x30 Senior Doubles crown they last won in 2014.

In front of a sold out, and boisterous crowd at Croke Park Handball Centre, the Royals came out tops 21-7, 21-14 in a two hour cracker, with the scoreline not doing justice to the competitiveness and real battle this final was.

Fittingly after collecting their medals, the duo dedicated their win to the late great Ducksy Walsh, who had competed in last years Doubles decider.

Earlier, Galway's Ollie Conway outlasted Kilkenny's William Love 21-17, 8-21, 21-17 to win the Intermediate Singles title and in doing so sealed his Senior Softball status for next year, whilst Wexford's Daniel Kavanagh & Anthony Butler were impressive in seeing off the challenge of Tyrone's Sean Kerr & Turlough Clarke 21-4, 21-9 in the Minor Doubles decider.
