Paul Brady & Michael Finnegan survived a major test this evening from Dominic Lynch & Gavin Buggy to win the 8th edition of the Bill Duggan Doubles Memorial in a tiebreak at Broadford HC, Limerick.
Lynch and Buggy stormed to the opener 21-5, and nearly sealed the match in two games but the Cavan pair edged them 21-18 before being dominant 11-4 winners in the tiebreak.
In the Golden Girls Ladies Final, Catriona Casey teamed up with Clare's 17 year old Caitriona Millane to defeat Martina McMahon & Pauline Gallagher, also in a tiebreak.
