The 2015 Golden Gloves 40x20 Ranking event will take place in St Paul's GAC, Belfast on November 6th - 8th, with entry forms now released.
This years event is starting to gather increased interest due to the quality of facilities now on offer with St Pauls (2 courts refurbished), Gort na Mona (2 courts), Colaiste Feirste (2 new courts) & Rossa (newly refurbished) making up the quota of courts being used during the weekend, with each facility within a five minute drive of one another.
This of course is the first Mens & Ladies Open ranking event of the new 40x20 season, and a host of big names is expected to showcase their talent. Last year saw Killian Carroll wow crowds with his athleticism as he ousted Diarmaid Nash in the final to win his first Senior Ranking title, which started a run of form where he claimed 3 titles in a row, also winning the Irish Nationals & John Gaffney Memorial.
Reigning World Champion Aisling Reilly took the Ladies crown last year and she will be back to defend in November. This years Ladies Open grade will be run in similar fashion to January's She's Ace National Weekend, with players competing in group stages before advancing to the knock out rounds.
Entry Deadline is Wednesday 28th October.
