
Sunday saw Team Ireland members have a well deserved rest day at the World Championships in Canada, but tomorrow sees the action kick into full swing with the opening matches in the Mens Open grades.
Taking to the courts first at 9am (4pm Irish time) is Paul Brady, who is bidding for his 5th consecutive World title. Brady plays Minneapolis' Ryan Pesch. Team Ireland Captain will take on Canadian Jason Johns at 10am. Team Ireland's Michael Finnegan will also face Canadian opposition in Ryan Bowler.
The Ladies Open grade also kicks off tomorrow, but Team Ireland's Aisling Reilly, Catriona Casey, Ciana Ni Churraoin & Martina McMahon are all not in action until Tuesday.
