GAA Handball regret to inform you that the death has occurred of Tom Gaffney, Ballaghaderreen father of Padraig, Ballaghaderreen Handball Club and former Chairman of the ICHA.

GAFFNEY (St. Anthony's, Cloverhill, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon) - January 26th, 2016 (Peacefully) at University Hospital, Castlebar; Tom; deeply mourned by his loving wife Bridie (Née Melvin), sons Chris (Kinvara), Tom (Vermont), Padraig (Dublin) and Rory (Moycullen), daughters Irene Gibson (Darby) and Pauline Slattery (Tralee), sisters Rita Morrisroe (Charlestown) and Marie Fisher (Enniskerry), grandchildren Kris, Marissa, Conor, Ellis and Ryan, sons-in-law Steve and James, daughters-in-law Áine and Stephanie, Tom's fiancée, Siobhan and Padraig's fiancée Fiona, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tom will repose at his home on Thursday evening from 5pm until 9pm. House private thereafter, please. Removal on Friday morning to St. Nathy's Cathedral arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by interment in Lisacul cemetery.
