Future Stars shine at Juvenile Finals

The Juveniles took all the focus as 16 Juvenile Finals closed out the 2017 Finals Festival Weekend.

In a fitting finale to a brilliant day, Kingscourts Court 1 was packed to the rafters to watch Lorcan McBride defeat Josh Kavanagh in a tiebreak of an epic U16 Singles Final, with both players emptying the tank in a bid for success.

It was great to see the Juvenile Finals so well supported, with a packed arena for the second consecutive night, following last nights Senior Finals.

Kilkenny's Billy Drennan was an impressive winner of the Boys U14 Singles, defeating Monaghan's Tiarnan O'Rourke in two games, whilst the Girls U14 title went to Mayos Hazel Finn who ousted Tyrones Clodagh Munroe.

Leah Doyle (Kildare) defeated last years U14 champ Mairead Fox (Tyrone) in the Girls U16 Final, whilst there were a number of other eye catching performances across various grades, as the future of GAA Handball looks to be in very safe hands.
