Féile na nGael 2017 – Fixtures

GAA Handball are delighted to be part of the John West Féile na nGael finals which are taking place on Saturday 10th June in Carlow/Wexford venues. Féile na nGael is a Club festival for Handball, Hurling, Camogie and Football at Under 14 level, involving teams from across the Association. The fixtures for the Handball competitions have just been released – see below.

This year’s event promises to be one of the largest Handball Féile competitions of all time, with the new standalone weekend being very well supported by our clubs. In the Boys 40x20 event we have 34 teams spread over 6 divisions, while the Girls 40x20 event has attracted 16 teams divided into 3 divisions. Our 60x30 event has attracted 8 teams which is a massive increase on the past few years. Finally our inaugural One Wall event has attracted 6 teams.

Féile provides an opportunity for:

Under 14 players to participate in an annual Festival of Handball/Hurling/Camogie and Gaelic Football/Ladies Gaelic Football.

Clubs to experience playing against teams from other Counties/Provinces.

Clubs to foster links with other Clubs in other Counties/Provinces.
